The last time we heard from the Salma Slims she delivered a quick-strike video for “Diary”— a captivating, hypnotic single that showcased her unwavering honesty. As the 1st Lady of Private Club continues to provide accompanying visuals for tracks off her recently released mixtape, Diary of Salma Slims, Salma’s Murda Beatz-produced single “Don’t Act” is next up. Joined by fellow Private Club emcee MyNamePhin, who released The Green Room EP with labelmate Noah Wood$ last month, “Don’t Act” is yet another hard-hitting effort from Slims. Proving to be just as verbally tenacious as she is seductive, the Atlanta native warns any man in pursuit of acting brand new. Directed by Kariuki.
