Se1v1en – “MIA”
By Amber B
Miami has its own style, a place where artists can look beyond what already exists. This new artist is diversifying the sound of Miami’s hip-hop scene with his irresistible hooks, sharp melodies, trap beats, reggaeton flavor, and electronic music influences. North Miami Beach native, Haitian-Dominican descendant, Se1v1en- pronounced “Seven Eleven,” has unleashed an intense anthem for his hometown, that proudly represents the overlooked areas he knows and loves.Produced by Se1v1en the hard-hitting, trap beat compliments Se1v1en’s raw, aggressive delivery. “I wanted to give the city a call-to-arms that allows everyone a voice,” said Se1v1en. He added “Beyond that regional meaning, it’s meant to inspire people to never give up. I came from the toughest part, and I made myself.”
