Getmybuzzup: Tell us a little about yourself?
Senpai: I like to watch anime right now other then that I’m pretty simple it doesn’t take a lot to make me happy.
Getmybuzzup: How long have you been in the music industry?
Senpai: I really don’t know how to answer this at the time I haven’t dropped any official projects but by the time people read this I’ll have something out and my birth to the industry.
Getmybuzzup: How did you get started in the first place?
Senpai: When I was younger I used to just freestyle with my cousins and it turned into something I actually liked doing. And I would find myself writing songs whenever I started going through something and people liked it so I stuck with it.
Getmybuzzup: How would you describe your sound (Emo Hip Hop)?
Senpai: I don’t even know I couldn’t put myself in one genre I’d deadass make a country song one day but you could definitely fit some of my songs in that category.
Getmybuzzup: Who are your inspirations in the music industry?
Senpai: I don’t know I actually don’t know a lot about Hollywood culture my friends always getting on to me cause supposedly I don’t know people I should I always just listened to who my family was listening to but now I’d prob say Drake or more up to date Juice WRLD just because he’s someone I want to compete with I don’t know him but from the shit I hear that shit always touch with me I’m trying to get names like that to see me as a rival.
Getmybuzzup: How do you go about writing a song and what is your process?
Senpai: I’ll just go throughout the day writing things that pop up in my head I’m always rapping or I’ll sit down when I’m feeling emotional instead of acting out or posting how I feel I’ll write about it it’s lowkey my way of venting cause I know someone is gonna hear it and if they feeling that way they understand me and highkey that’s the beautiful thing about music because that same effect it has on me where I feel like someone understands me it’s having on them and it makes you know your not alone but I get more of a high from it cause I see people actually replaying my shit and wanting to hear me be a crybaby or whatever the fuck I’m talking about it’s just cool.
Getmybuzzup: What are you currently working on?
Senpai: A project called ‘Trials of Heartbreak’.
Getmybuzzup: What is the concept behind your latest project?
Senpai: Just a little bit of what I was talking about in my creative process. I want people to know you gonna get hurt but you should understand that and not let the pain change you as a person and your not alone.
Getmybuzzup: Any plans on touring to promote your latest project?
Senpai: I haven’t really put in thought to that I’ve just been focused on finishing the project and perfecting it.
Getmybuzzup: What did you buy with your first check off music?
Senpai: A weapon like a sword but not a sword a object that inflicts damage I’m tryna live long.
Getmybuzzup: What are must haves when your in the studio working?
Senpai: Nothing but the beat ima work regardless I like to be smacked while recording tho.
Getmybuzzup: What is the best piece of advice in this business you actually followed?
Senpai: I haven’t been in this business long enough to see what’s gonna help me yet but we’ll see.
Getmybuzzup: Will you be collaborating with any other artists on this project or in the future?
Senpai: Most likely I’m most sure tho but don’t count anyone out.
Getmybuzzup: Do you think your music is mostly enjoyed more for the beats or for the lyrical flow and content?
Senpai: I definitely feel people listen to me for my lyrics but my beats slap I don’t really know but I hope it’s for my lyrics if not I don’t really care at least they not hating.
Getmybuzzup: What area do you need to improve on in regards to your career? (Example: Better production, Delivery, Stage presence, etc..)
Senpai: My networking skills I don’t like having extra relationships I already associate with to many people I feel so me forming connections with other artists and people in the industry that some might think I should try to make is something that’s difficult for me.
Getmybuzzup: What’s your all-time favorite song?
Senpai: I don’t have one I like to much I’m one of those people that can’t have a favorite color.
Getmybuzzup: In your opinion who is the most influential and successful artist in your genre today and why?
Senpai: Drake idk facts or nothing I just know that nigga big tho and he got a lot more money then rappers like me who new to this shit.
Getmybuzzup: Who have been some of your favorite artists that you’ve been able to work with?
Senpai: Chubby Sosa, Mvck T, tragic world there’s others but I fuck with there music heavy and they all got talent.
Getmybuzzup: How do you feel about the current state of music?
Senpai: I don’t feel any type of way it’s music all kinds of it is out there and being made everyday it’s lit.
Getmybuzzup: Any dream award shows you hope to one day play at?
Senpai: Idk i don’t really care about awards I just do this shit cause I love it.
Getmybuzzup: What is your main goal as far as music?
Senpai: I’m trying to be a legend even when I’m old I’m probably gonna make soothing old people music so I don’t plan on stopping either.
Getmybuzzup: Who would you say your music relates to the most?
Senpai: People going through heartbreaks and dealing with toxic situations I try to let people understand your gonna feel a certain way but it’s okay and normal you just gotta let time fix and heal certain shit.
Getmybuzzup: What separates you from other artists? (What’s makes you different?)
Senpai: I’m not sure how to answer this and don’t really care to. You can tell me and enlighten me on why you feel I’m different. But I never try to be original I feel like it’s something that’s just gonna come to me. Everything’s already been said and done history just repeats itself. But 90% of the time what we’re thinking has already been thought by someone maybe millions of years ago. Sometimes I feel like people are being unauthentic trying to be to different like are you sure that’s even you or are you trying to be someone your not.
Getmybuzzup: When your not in the studio, What do you like to do for fun and relaxation?
Senpai: I surround myself around my family as much as possible. I’m a family man so that’s really where it’s at for me; if I’m not with them I’m going crazy at a show or sum.
Getmybuzzup: If you could work with any producer who would it be?
Senpai: I don’t have anyone that comes to mind sorry but if someone wanna send me beats we can defiantly set that up.
Getmybuzzup: What’s the biggest highlight of your career thus far?
Senpai: My career hasn’t even started yet we only got things to look forward to
Getmybuzzup: What is your dream venue to perform at?
Senpai: I don’t have a dream venue it’s the people packing the venues to hear me I dream about.
Getmybuzzup: What artist music are you currently a fan of?
Senpai: I don’t listen to anyone devotedly but I hear songs when people play music around me and my favorite song right now is drip harder by Lil Baby that shit tuff to me.
Getmybuzzup: When performing live what are some of the things you do to get the crowd involved?
Senpai: I never really think about things like that. I don’t think you should every crowd is different. I just live in the moment and hope they there with me.
Getmybuzzup: When performing and the crowd is singing along how does that energy make you feel?
Senpai: That’s why I do this; nothing I ever done make me feel like I’m doing something bigger then me. I could get a touchdown and be like that’s cool but I don’t feel nothing.
Getmybuzzup: What can we expect from you in the future?
Senpai: Videos are something I been looking forward to and I can’t wait to give y’all those projects.
Getmybuzzup: Where can the fans check out for your music?
Senpai: You can find it on every major platform.
