I remember having a conversation with Michael Jackson here in New York… He was at the Hit Factory; he was doing the Dangerous album. One thing that stuck with us, since he told us was “Know your worth. Don’t let anyone tell you what you’re worth, when you know otherwise.” That always stuck in our heads.

Terry Lewis used to tell us, “When this is not fun anymore, quit. You should always enjoy this. It’s music for god’s sake.
