Sy Ari Da Kid

After getting people talking with his buzzworthy and Birdman assisted video, “Wire Transfer from Birdman” (as premiered by Hot New Hip Hop) – with his mentor taking some not so subtle shots at Rick RossSy Ari Da Kid returns.

The Cash Money signee got his momentum moving with his single “Priorities” featuring Bryson Tiller last year, and from there he went on to write and produce “First Take” off of Travis Scott‘s last album. Now he keeps the movement moving with his latest visual. Enjoy this video stream below after the jump.

This time around Sy Ari switches things up with the focus on the one that got away in his latest video (premiered by XXL). The Atlanta (by way of NY) emcee/producer gets some help from a few of his famous comedian friends for “Ex Fiancé.”

The Dontell Antonio directed video features appearances from DC Young Fly, Kash Doll, Dooley Funny, Anthony Johnson & Tre Williams as they hilariously act out a near nuptial situation. Sy Ari brings the smooth melody over TEAUXNY & illa Jones production.

Says Sy of the song/video: “Not saying that i’ve been engaged before, but we all have that one person we would’ve married, BUT DIDN’T! With the video I wanted to get that concept across but still have fun with it. so i took a few ideas from some of my favorite wedding movies like The Wood, The Best Man, Wedding Crashers, The Wedding Singer, stuff like that.”
