Yesterday was a huge victory for those who protested the $3.7 billion Dakota Access Pipeline project. Native Americans and climate activists rejoiced as the US Army Corps of Engineers denied the permit for the pipeline’s construction to cross Lake Oahe, near the Standing Rock Reservation. Hip Hop Caucus (HHC) stood in solidarity with peaceful protestors at Standing Rock and released a music video, “Stand Up/Stand N Rock” with Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas. We are providing you with this new and cinematic video content to share and emphasize this historic victory against climate injustice.
