Tasha The Amazon is a textbook iconoclast, blazing her own path through Canada’s music industry with undeniable talent and a fierce demeanor. Kicking back atop twinkling keys and rubbery bass, Tasha reflects on her climb to stardom on “Not The Same,” her new single. Produced by Arthur McArthur (Rick Ross, Wiz Khalifa, Pusha T), “Not The Same” finds Tasha adapting her mantra-like melodies to the track’s summery vibe, thinking back to her couch-surfing past in Toronto and comparing it to her globe-trotting life as a boundary-pushing rapper.
