“Extra’s” Cheslie Kryst caught up with Tessa Thompson and Nnamdi Asomugha to talk about their new movie streaming on Amazon Prime, “Sylvie’s Love.”
The movie follows a young woman who falls for a saxophonist while she’s working at her dad’s record store in the 1950s. They find young love, but end up parting ways, only to reunite years later.
Tessa revealed, “I’ve wanted to make a big, sprawling love story for a really long time,” and Nnamdi called playing a saxophonist and learning about jazz “enlightening”
Thompson also dished on upcoming plans to film “Thor: Love and Thunder.” Tessa, who will star as Valkyrie, said, “Things are going well. I will be in Australia soon, at the top of next year. Thankfully, they are doing really well during this pandemic so we are able to shoot this year — we can do it safely… I’m excited, the script is very, very, very fun, and I hope fans love it as much as I do.”
