The FADER spent a week with the artist, visiting his childhood home in St. Paul, Minnesota, where we meet his mother, his uncle, and get a glimpse into the artist’s journey toward securing his presence in hip hop. In this film, we learn how Kingdom eventually caught the attention of Kanye West, and longtime collaborator Plain Pat. “Every time I do something it’s exciting because it’s new and I don’t know what’s going to happen,” says Kingdom. “That’s what I represent, is something new.” Enjoy this video stream below after the jump.
