Monday on “The Talk” “Waiting to Exhale” star Angela Bassett discusses her 1995 hit film becoming a new series following the lives of the characters’ daughters. Host Elaine Welteroth asks, “Would you be interested in making an appearance if you were asked?” Bassett responds, “That’s interesting because Terry McMillan, who penned the novel, the book, she reached out to me a couple of months ago and was giving me the 411 on this and asking me if I would, might I’d consider. And it was like absolutely, without a doubt. Give me something hard to answer. I would definitely comeback as mommy, auntie, hopefully not nana. But, I’d be open to that.”
