Friday on “The Talk,” Rachel Brosnahan and Michael Zegen spill on the second season of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.” Brosnahan reveals how she builds up confidence to perform stand-up (as Midge) in front of large crowds. “A lot of power posing, a lot of like wearing pedicoats in the mirror and going, ‘I can do this.’ Michael [Zegan] spends a lot of time making me feel better. I did have a realization while we were shooting that scene, that, this is the biggest audience that Midge has ever performed in front of, and simultaneously the biggest audience that I have ever performed in front of. And that, as Midge becomes more successful on the show… that the audiences are just going to get bigger and bigger and bigger, I was absolutely horrified. And Amy [Sherman-Palladino] starts taking about stadiums and I was like, ‘Oh my God.'” On the second season ending with Midge and Joel reconnecting after a long separation, Zegan reacts, “I think he needs to stay away.”
