The Talk – Sharon Osbourne Says Daughter, Kelly May Leave Showbiz; ‘She’s taking time to think’ Abou

On Friday’s show, “The Talk” hosts discuss the stress of childhood fame. Having grown up in the business, Sara Gilbert shares, “In my twenties I just remember, it’s so horrible. I knew people who OD’d. I knew people who committed suicide, who had been child stars and child actors. It is hard for some people… And it destroys a lot of people, sadly.” On her family industry background, Gilbert adds, “It started with my grandfather, and yeah, I guess it was a family industry… And some of it was just that I happened to be able to keep supporting myself… so some of it is the luck of the draw.” Sharon Osbourne reveals thoughts on her daughter, Kelly. “I even look at it from my daughter’s point of view. She started working in this industry at 16. And now she’s got to the point for that last couple of years, she doesn’t know whether she even wants to stay in this industry. She’s taking time to think what she really wants to do with her life. And I get it.”
