“The Talk” hosts react to Liam clarifying his controversial revenge remarks saying, ‘I’m not a racist.’ Sheryl Underwood says, “I’m glad he said it the way he felt it. I’m glad he acknowledged it, because at the end of the day, we love Liam Neeson because his movies were about getting revenge against the bad guy. But when he openly acknowledged this, he made the bad guys me, Eve, and every black person in this room. And in Black History Month, we know studying our history is that an accusation caused people to be lynched, to be murdered… even to this day, an accusation of sexual violence or rape against someone that’s not your same color, can not only destroy your life, but you can lose your life. But I’m really happy that he’s not being overly applauded, that we appreciate that he said something really real, and he wants the United States of American to face what we won’t discuss.”
