About Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s:
When Miss Robbie Montgomery, a 1960s backup singer and former “Ikette,” suffered a collapsed lung and had to stop singing, she decided to pour her talents into another creative venture—a soul food restaurant called Sweetie Pie’s. This docuseries follows the loud, loving and often singing Montgomery family as they work to expand their empire, one soulful dish at a time.

  1. Tim my prayers are with you on following your dream….it's not very many children that would help their mom out in the way that kept her dream a reality…. Perhaps doing it differently in a way that you both were in agreement most of the time would have been better, but,it's not for me to dampen your spirit for the one thing you did wrong, instead I celebrate you for all the other things you did right…..I applaud you Tim,you worked tirelessly to make it possible for soooo many. Your Mom fame, good cooking and hard work definitely paved the way for all of you….your team work as a family is what made the dream work….it took you both to get here….be encouraged…. Keep the family bond, life changes instantly without notice…God Bless

  2. Good for you Tim. Do your own thing. You have the money and for some people that's half the battle! Wishing you all the best.

  3. I know he not trying to quit the way he was so gung ho about opening all these restaurants and now it’s not your dream??? Even when your mom asked you to stop you kept going I’m shocked

  4. I love my Sweetie Pie I hate this is the last season. Why because of Tim. Look at all the restaurants he opened and now non existence. Total waste of time and money.

  5. Honestly he looks like a deflated ballon. The family has been through so much and it's all been public. Tim definitely made some mistakes but his enthusiasm was never connected with Charles'. Charles is a moocher and has always been. He erks me. Miss Robbie will be alright. She's right where she wants to be …in hamburger heaven.

  6. Tim you caused so much drama and hurt to your mom, by continuing to open all those restaurants behind Ms. Robbie's back. She had to sue you to stop the madness, now you are done with the business. I lost all respect for Tim for treating his mom the way he did. Tim you are selfish and arrogant.(GROW UP Tim)!!

  7. They always say listen to your elders especially when they get Ms Robbie age, she comes with so much wisdom, Everything Ms Robbie stated and tried to warn Tim of has came to past. SMDH. Tim jumped in head first and was going 100mph, he didnt slow down for anything, went against everything his mom said, Now look @ him, he burned out mentally and physically, while making so many bad business decisions.

  8. You sound like Charles..
you can't make it as a rap star! Tim, you wasn't that good!….You should have stay in St Louis at the headquarters…The Mangroves! It was just enough for you to manage it!

  9. That business was his vision to have franchises, but at the rate he was trying to open up multiple restaurants…and putting quick sustainable workers..popping out wasn't going to work… Miss Robbie tried to tell Tim you can't do this with a restaurant…l know, l own a few;. ..He is broke,! and burnt out!

  10. Boy you see how people jump ship? Not his dream? Lie. It was his dream to venture out because he wanted it to turn into a staple franchise. He ran through all of that money. He knows that OWN check about to stop unless they show reruns.
So what is your dream Timothy?
He gets you hyped for a massive let down. Ask Janae. Ijs.

  11. So is the Houston restaurant closed, I went once in the beginning but left to long of a wait, but I would love to have tried it, since I'm from Houston and made a drive and visit to the st.louis one.

  12. I’m glad that he never wants to work again. He wants to live his dreams. It took him years to come to that conclusion and I applaud him!!

  13. That's what his mom was telling him about opening up all those restaurants wasting all that money had his cousin coming their now he's done . hope the music business works for you.

  14. Wow…that was heartfelt.  Hopefully, we will find out what his dream is because I always thought the restaurant business was essentially his dream as well.
