Tommy Lee, drummer for the multi-Platinum selling heavy metal band Mötley Crüe, has become a consistent lyrical reference in hip-hop over the years. In fact, just last month, Tyla Yaweh and Post Malone dropped a song called “Tommy Lee,” which is named after the rock star himself. For the newest episode of Genius’ original series ‘Between The Lines,’ Tommy Lee gave his take on the some of the hip-hop lyrics that have mentioned him.
