  1. The comments portraying that he gets posterized a lot are from people who don't really watch what the man does. He's a fantastic player, Boston are lucky to have him. Sure, he get's dunked on a lot, but if you're a solid defender and aren't scared of contesting a shot, you're going to get dunked on. Just like if you're a wing defender, one day you will get crossed up.

  2. Most guys just leave the lane open and let guys inside. This guy is tough, isn't afraid to contest and getting dunked on is part of playing good defense. Giannis is one of the best players in the world, but all the dude is able to do on offense is score within 5 feet of the rim. Now, if he was getting dunked on by like, Isaiah Thomas or JJ Reddick then that would be a bit different.

  3. I feel like the majority of the people commenting only watch highlights and don’t realize that part of the reason he gets dunked on is because he is always contesting shots. He’s a terrific post defender who happens to start (the majority of the time) on the team with the league’s best defense.
