Schure Media Group announces new public relations client XSCAP3 formerly known as XSCAPE. The name change reflects the future for the legendary R&B group as their next EP will not feature original member Kandi Burruss as she’s currently focusing on her eight-week Broadway run in the hit show Chicago. But that’s not stopping original group members sisters LaTocha and Tamika Scott and Tameka “Tiny” Cottle from delivering new music to fans after what can only be described as a whirlwind year.

With their 25th anniversary approaching, XSCAPE reunited for a momentous group performance at this past year’s Essence Festival creating mass hysteria from a fan base more than eager to see the group together again. Documenting their road to reunite, Xscape Still Kickin’ It debuted on the Bravo Network and followed the four original members of the multi-platinum hit ’90s girl group, as they made their triumphant return to the stage after nearly 20 years apart. The show was one of the networks most successful docu-series leading to a nationwide sold out arena tour that outpaced their musical contemporaries. The numbers proved that XSCAPE not only have fans that have stuck with them for decades but also have acquired an entirely new generation of fans who appreciate timeless music. With incredible performances at the BET Awards, Essence Festival, Good Morning America and a sold out nationwide tour, the group is back as a trio and poised to release an EP of new music titled Here For It on March 2, 2018. The lead single from the EP, “Memory Lane,” produced by Grammy-winning Producer Tricky Stewart will be out soon. In the near future, the group will release information on an upcoming provocative film that will reveal the untold story that tracks the journey of College Park, GA teenagers growing up in the music business while navigating the sometimes-treacherous industry to become worldwide music icons.

The group exploded onto the music scene in the 90’s and emerged as one of the most prolific female R&B groups of all time. Mid-tempo melodies traversed them to the top of the charts as they ended the decade with three platinum-selling albums and over 10 million albums sold worldwide. Their talent is unbelievable, their selling power is unmatched and their success is undeniable.

Their debut album Hummin’ Comin’ At ‘Cha (1993) was a critical and massive commercial success. The platinum album launched two top singles, Just Kickin It and Understanding, which both soared as platinum-selling #1 chart topping hits. The group followed with two additional platinum albums, Off The Hook (1995) and Traces Of My Lipstick (1998).

Schure Media Group’s roster include Beyoncé, Chloe x Halle, Jussie Smollett, LeAnn Rimes, Robin Thede, Tye Tribbett and Social Club Misfits, among others. The firm is based in New York/New Jersey.

A$ton Matthews - "One Minute to Pray" ft. Prodigy [Audio]

Wed Jan 31 , 2018
A$ton Matthews By Jack Barnes With a helium-pitched rasp and with a vividly imaginative pen, A$ton Matthews is one of L.A.’s most respected underground emcee. Serving up a sinister slice of street savagery, Matthews shares “One Minute to Pray,” his first single. Produced with steely minimalism by Jay Curry, “One Minute to Pray” is […]
