On the heels of his King of Memphis album release, Young Dolph shares a video for the Mike WiLL Made-It x Resource-produced opening single “Facts.” The track finds Dolph paying respect to the hustle of his peers in the rap game. “I took one for the team and blew us up like Weezy, made a half-a-milli in the trenches bumpin’ Jeezy,” he rhymes, adding “My city is to me like Toronto is to Drake, shout out to Meek just cause I love to see young n*ggas get cake.” With a stronghold on his hometown of Memphis, the prolific artist is now looking to make waves around the country, inviting them into his world on King of Memphis. Young Dolph proves he can deliver a compelling full-length all on his own, shouldering the 11-track load without any guest rappers. Noisey, who debuted the album, says “King of Memphis is a solid debut album from one of the most quietly popular artists in the South right now, and it’s well worth your time.” Enjoy this video stream below after the jump.
