Young Dolph – “I Pray For My Enemies” [Video]

Young Dolph

By Jack Barnes

Haters beware – it’ll take a lot more than 100 bullets to stop Young Dolph. Escaping a fully-automatic assault unscathed, the King of Memphis fires back at his foes with the vicious “I Pray For My Enemies.” The second single off of the upcoming Bulletproof album finds Dolph in rare form. Spitting over a Zaytoven-produced demon of a beat, Young Dolph’s flow has never been icier, slicing through his haters with lazy flicks of his katana-sharp rhymes: “They tried to do me like they did Kennedy/ I ain’t mad at you, I pray for my enemies.”  Cementing himself yet again as the undisputed victor, Young Dolph has never been more cold-blooded.  Enjoy this video stream below after the jump.

Last month, Young Dolph released “that’s how i feel” featuring Gucci Mane, the first of many cutthroat tracks from Bulletproof. With a salty feature from Guwop and a tracklisting that reads like angry trap poetry, Dolph Obama unloads a banana clip of his own on the upcoming album, leaving no survivors in his wake.

A prolific chronicler of outrageous trap shenanigans, Dolph dropped a string of quality visuals from his recent Gelato mixtape over the past couple months. Recently, he rocked Versace snow boots in “Whole Lot,” unveiled the Ten Baller Commandments on “Baller Alert,” saluted the Black Mafia Family on Meech,” and celebrated his success with the opulent video for “Gelato.” Gelato was praised by Stereogum, who said, “Dolph’s new mixtape, Gelato, is a ridiculously solid piece of trap music… There’s no thirst in him. His shit-talk feels effortless. And that’s why he’s winning.” Gelato capitalized on the momentum from Dolph’s triumphant 2016, highlighted by the three full-lengths Rich Crack BabyBo$$e$ and $hooter$, and King of Memphis, named by XXL as one of the Best Projects of the Year. The 11-track Gelato mixtape is now available for purchase on iTunes and stream on SoundCloud, and get ready for Bulletproof, available tomorrow.
